They have to pull in the potential converts that have adopted a "wait and see" attitude for more power. There is a Stillen supercharged 350Z in our area. I talked to the mechanic who installed it and test drove it. His comment was that it brought the car's performance up to "where it should be." I found that interesting. Not that the supercharger made the 350 outstanding, but that is simply brought it to baseline. High horsepower factory cars are once again becoming trend, after a long hiatus that dates back to the 60's. Any new performance car has to at least have the option of coming equipped in the range of 350+ HP these days to be taken seriously, IMHO.
